The result is a single platform solution that is scalable, has location flexibility and attractive cost metrics. The process starts with renewable ethanol that enables a process for storing electrical power at all scales through a thermo-electrochemical mechanism.
The process uses excess electrical energy from renewable or traditional sources to produce ethane, which can be stored or transported in pipelines for use in conventional turbines.
