OUR TECHNOLOGY:

THE POTENTIAL EXISTED FOR 150 YEARS. WE MADE IT WORK FOR TODAY.

Every day, more renewable energy sources are added to the grid.  That sounds great but today there’s a catch: If green energy isn’t used immediately, it’s wasted. That’s not very green. Or cost-effective. The intensive search for a solution to this power storage problem has not produced a single platform solution that integrates seamlessly with existing grid infrastructure. Until now.

GridThink took a proven, 150-year-old electrochemical process and updated it to solve 21st Century energy storage needs. The result is a single platform solution that is scalable, has location flexibility and attractive cost metrics. The process starts with renewable ethanol that enables a process for storing electrical power at all scales through a thermo-electrochemical mechanism.

The process uses excess electrical energy from renewable or traditional sources to produce ethane, which can be stored or transported in pipelines for use in conventional turbines.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

The process uses electricity to convert a carbon feedstock to storable energy.

LET'S TALK

We're currently seeking partners and investors to help us transform the energy storage space. We're on to something big. If you're thinking of the grid too, let's get in contact.
